"I grew up on a dairy farm in a rural agricultural area of West central Ohio.
I have had a love for music since I was a little girl.
As I grew up I spent as much time in the music rooms of school as I could
It was my happy place.
I continued my love for music and service to children by attending The Ohio State University to become a Music Education teacher.
I also marched with The Ohio State University band for 1 year.
After completing my second year at the university I experienced a head-on collision which led to my Traumatic Brain Injury.
After being in a coma for 4 days, on life support for 2 weeks, I was transferred to Dodd Hall. This was the Rehabilitation hospital on the Ohio State University campus to recover for 7 weeks.
Upon release, I went home and had outpatient therapy 3 days a week for 3 months. The other 4 days I would do at home therapy to continue my recovery.
I eventually returned to complete my degree, and went to school year around to complete and receive my diploma in March of 1997.
Fred and I got married in October of 1997.
We started our family of 3 sons in 2000, 2002,and 2006.
We chose to have me stay home with the boys until they went to school full time.
Following this, I had different jobs till I became a paraprofessional and substitute teacher in a MD room.
After 3 years I lost my mom and I started a travel business on the side.
Our team at school was transferred to a cross categorical disability room. This was tough and became mentally and physically strenuous everyday. I decided to leave the schools to go all in on my travel business.
This led me to personal development and mindset coaching.
I fell in love with changing how I see and think about my life. Which turned into a passion to help others to achieve what I was doing.
Upon losing both my parents I looked into becoming a certified coach.
I went through the coaching as a client and then learned how to coach what I had just gone through to grow my thoughts and thinking.
Besides this, I have also authored in Vol. 1 and Vol.4 of Unstoppable! and the Coaches toolkit. All of which are Best Sellers on Amazon!
My goals are to publish my own story, travel the world sharing God's message of Hope, Faith, Trust, Surrender and Inspiration; along with helping TBI Survivors to find acceptance of their new life and experience true joy, love, and peace from within.
I love spending time with our family and traveling, creating memories to last beyond my life.
Spending time in nature seeing and experiencing God's beauty is something that also brings me joy and peace.
I am an active member of my church's Resurrection and Sunday Choirs. I am called the Alleluia lady. Which is my favorite to lead."
